Experience/ Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting practice
- Bachelor’s degree required, CA preferred
- Experience with Oracle Financials a plus
- Must be able to perform complex calculations, understand accounting impact and implications of transactions and perform complex reconciliations of large volumes of data.
- Strong organizational skills required to manage multiple, concurrent tasks
- Must be able to quickly learn new systems technology, work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and must be able to build relationships and effectively interact with other departments to achieve shared goals,
- Strong problem solving skills,
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills as well as strong commitment to customer service excellence
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Performs, analyzes and evaluates complex accounting activities in order to support the assigned business group(s).
- Interacts with various groups within the organization to achieve financial goals and continued development of accounting systems and plans.
- Responsible for accurate and timely processing, calculating and reporting.
