Job Description
- Candidate will have deep expertise in AWS technologies and services as well as understanding on how infrastructure and applications are deployed on AWS
- Candidate will have good foundation and proficiency in AWS and complementary technologies and would have relevant architecting and management experience in the following technology areas: a. AWS Iaas and PaaS technologies and services:
- Compute EC2,
- Web Web Apps, Mobile Apps, Logic Apps
- Storage S3,EBS, EFS
- Networking VPC, Elastic LoadBalancing, Route 53
- Database RDS, Aurora
- Application Services
- Security
- Management CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Trusted Advisor
- Hybrid
- Good with scripting / automation using PowerShell, CloudFormation, Chef
- Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and MS SQL Server
- Good understanding of at least one leading configuration automation tool
- Candidate will be involved in providing AWS advisory and consulting services to customers including assessments, presenting recommendations on AWS migration roadmaps, architecture / designs etc.
- Candidate will lead analysis, recommendations, and presentation of approaches to customers complex problems based on prior experience and researches
- Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads
- Understand and document technical requirements from clients
- Define Migration strategy to move application to cloud
- Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as EC2, S3 etc.) and tools;
- Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc
- Design the AWS network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
- Candidate will architect / design / deploy / optimize AWS IaaS and PaaS solutions based on a range of AWS technologies and services listed above
- Candidate will be instrumental conducting AWS PoCs, deployment and migration of various workloads to AWS services from traditional infrastructure or other Clouds
- Candidate will collaborate with customers functional and technical teams to ensure AWS based solutions
