Centre for Shaikh-ul Aalam Studies: A master’s degree in any the disciplines of Social science or Language with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in point scale where ever grading system is followed. Good academic record with Ph.D in any discipline of Social Science or languages. Published research work of good quality on any aspect of Kashmiri Culture, tradition/Identity of Kashmir. Ability to read, write and understand Kashmiri Language with capacity for interdisciplinary. Well versed in Shaikh-ul Aalam Studies with proficiency in reading manuscript (pertaining to the History and Culture of Kashmir).

Economics: Growth & Development, Macroeconomics, Econometrics & Mathematics, Public Economics, Money Banking & Finance, Agricultural Economics, Economics of Social sector, Labor Economics, Economics of Tourism, Gender & Development.

Management (South Campus): Finance, Human Resource, Marketing & IT.

Kashmiri: Criticism, Linguistics & Fiction.

Foreign Language: German Language & French Language.

Clinical Biochemistry: Clinical Biochemistry/Biochemistry.

Bio-Resource: Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Bio-resource with specialization in Entomology, Animal Resources, Animal Cell & Tissue Technology, Immunology, Parasitological, Bioinformatics.

Microbiology: M.Sc in Microbiology.

Physical Education: For imparting practical knowledge for various games, Sports Management, kinesiology, sports Medicine.

Home Science: Food Science & Nutrition, Dietetics & Clinical Nutrition, Extension & Communication, Human Development.
