Job Description :
Purpose of the Role :
- Taking care of all legal requirements which includes internal & external legal concerns; representing the organization in appropriate forums;
- handling consumer complaints / court cases / RERA representations / Police and any authority based on the need.
Critical Success Factors
- Achieving complete compliance of RERA and other laws pertaining to Real Estate Industry.
- High level of proficiency in drafting legal documents
- Identifying Risk prone areas and deploying risk mitigation processes.
- Ability to convert litigating situations into a winning settlements.
- Achieving favorable verdicts in all litigations, Legal Advisory, Documentation ,Vendor Contracts, Customer Contracts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Need to provide accurate advice based on the requirements of the organization. Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for business.
- Advise management concerning business transactions, claim liability, the advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
- Documentation is mandatory for any department, especially (LEGAL & CONTRACTS), in the organization. Need to preserve all the documents within the department, courts records, etc.
- Need to concentrate on LEGAL RESEARCH / CITATIONS, etc.
- Look closely into every transaction; identify risk prone areas and mitigating every possible risk by designing processes that would address potentially risky environments.
- Conciliate strained customer / vendor relationships and negotiate for a non-litigating positive outcome.
- Work collaboratively with the key departments namely, Land Acquisition, Liaison, Sales and CRM and be accountable for the various corrections of their documents, documents standardization and workflow requirements.
Desired candidate :
- Any Graduate, Undergraduate in Law from a reputed University or Law school.
- LLB / LLM- Law degree from a top university / law
- Experience (in years) 3-10+ years Candidates with real estate experience will be given preference.
