Attorney Associate

• Lexcel is a provider of integrated Legal, Discovery, and Research Solutions to Law firms in the US. 
  
• We work collaboratively with clients to address their specific support needs in areas such as e-discovery, legal process outsourcing, market and competitive intelligence, research services, document services and other Legal services.
  
• Summary of Position: 
  
• This position will assist in performing legal and business research to support our clients across the globe, including research in support of client legal needs and to further business goals.
  

• Provide legal research support for the clients
  
• Conducting searches on databases such as Lexis Nexis and Westlaw based on topics/cases as assigned by the attorney
  
• Case and case law related research and providing comments / insights /recommendations
  
• Research on laws for domains including finance, commercial litigation, data privacy, etc.
  
• Experience of working directly with an attorney, as the role requires direct interaction with lawyers on a daily basis
  
• Flexible with working in changing shifts
  
• Assist with research projects to further local, regional, or national initiatives identified by the client
  

• LL.B. and/or LL.M. degrees from top and id tier colleges only
  
• Minimum of two or more years of legal research / law librarian experience
  
• Excellent research, analytical and problem solving skills are required
  
• Experience with US legal research resources helpful
  
• Must be detail and technology oriented
  
• Proficiency in Excel is preferred
  
• Advanced proficiency in WestlawNext and/or Lexis
  
• Knowledge of BNA Labor and Employment Law Resource
