Job Description
- Drafting documents and correspondence for review, approval and use by attorneys.
- Researching legal issues and reporting results to attorneys in writing and in-person.
- Summarizing agreements, complaints, and other legal documents.
- Supporting attorneys and paralegal on various assigned projects, including some administrative tasks.
- Prepare initial drafts of real estate contracts, including Lease Amendments, SNDAs and Estoppels, based upon existing forms for existing real estate properties for internal attorney review.
- Provide analysis regarding leases for the use by internal attorneys and paralegals.
- Prepare lease abstracts, which include reviewing and analysing deal specific provisions to make sure appropriate information is captured in summaries for accuracy and ease of use of internal clients and attorneys.
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with the disposition process for closing stores by preparing documents for closings.
