Job Description
LEGAL EXECUTIVE
Experience: 3 - 5 Years
Location: Mumbai
Role: Law Officer
Education:
- UG:LLB - Law
- PG:Post Graduation Not Required
Business Planning:
- Understand the business objectives and derive short term and long term implications for the organization's Legal & Compliance
- Support in the selection and appointment of legal consultants and solicitors
- Constantly scan the environment for any change in political, legal and statutory environment and derive legal implications for Bisleri
- Monitor legal issues/cases are effectively managed with minimal financial impact for the organization
Compliance:
- Support compliance with statutory requirements through proper documentation and adherence to established processes
- Monitor adherence to the legal policies and statutory & regulatory guidelines of the organization
- Oversee safe custody of original agreements, contracts, major court orders, certificate of incorporation of company, commencement of business, land acquisition papers, etc.
- Litigation
- Support the litigation process and ensure contract related risks are minimized
Risk Mitigation & Support:
- Support in identification of legal issues, classify various legal risks basis nature and probability of occurrence & recommend measures to counter the same
- Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to ensure escalations are effectively managed and functional objectives are met
Operational Excellence:
- Work closely with the R&D teams to ensure timely registration of new IPRs and monitor new product development initiatives from a legal perspective
Required Candidate profile:
- Should be from FMCG industry only
- Should have good knowledge of FSSAI, BIS & Legal Metrology
