recruitment in Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IIT Dharwad) on
temporary basis
No. of Posts : 06
Qualification : B.L.I.Sc./M.L.I.Sc. or Degree in Library and
Information Sciences from UGC recognized University. Academic record with
minimum 55% at Bachelor’s/Master’s degree. Hands-on experience with
Word-Processing and Spreadsheet Software.
Desirable : Candidates with Science background, fluency in
English, Hindi and Kannada languages. Knowledge of Computer applications to
library activities. Exposure to Windows and Linux platforms, Library
Management, Digital Library and Content Management soft wares.
Consolidated Pay : Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 18,000 (A monthly stipend
of 16,000/- to Rs. 18,000/- will be paid to the selected candidates having
qualification of B.L.I.Sc. and M.L.I.Sc. respectively)
