Senior Level - Lighting Designer

Job Summary
The Lighting Design Team Lead supervises and supports Lighting Design Executives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of lighting designs for commercial projects. The role focuses on day-to-day design coordination, quality checks, technical accuracy, and collaboration with internal teams such as Sales, Production, and Project Management. The Team Lead ensures designs meet technical standards and assists the Sales & Design Head in executing design-related deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
· Team Supervision: Guide and mentor Lighting Design Executives, providing technical support and ensuring task completion.
· Design Review & Quality Checks: Review design outputs, Dialux reports, BOQs, TDS, and layouts prepared by the team for accuracy and compliance with standards.
· Production Sheet Coordination: Ensure production sheets are prepared accurately and shared with the Production team; escalate critical issues to Sales & Design Head.
· Technical Support for Projects: Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, and Production teams to provide design inputs, technical clarifications, and updates.
· Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain organized records of designs, TDS, BOQs, and project-related documentation for internal reference and audits.
· Product & Technology Awareness: Stay updated on LED lighting technologies, design tools (Dialux, Dialux Evo, AutoCAD), and energy efficiency standards.
· Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales & Design Head and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of design outputs.
Skills & Requirements:
· Proficiency in lighting design software.
· Team coordination skills at the execution level.
· Attention to detail for accurate BOQs, layouts, and TDS preparation.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
Educational Qualification:● Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
● 5-6 years of experience in lighting design projects or manufacturing industry.
