Job Description
We are looking for Server Administrator for our organization in Chennai.
Skills Required:
- Minimum one year technical experience in an enterprise IT support environment.
- Hands on experience on Linux servers.
- Experience in building, configuration, and hardening of Linux Server Operating systems.
- General knowledge of LANs.
- Good knowledge in Installing, Configuring and Managing AD / DHCP / DNS Services.
- Willing to join immediately.
- Maintains and manages Linux environment. Installs, modifies and maintains systems and utility software on server computer systems.
- Provides server support related to other software.
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our user encounter.
- Maintain network and system security.
- Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
- Create and verify backups of data.
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection, software and other processes.
- Install and test computer-related equipment.
