Job description

The Learning Management System (LMS) Course Developer is responsible for building content in the LMS that is provided by the Instructional Design team.
These include new online master courses and the redesign of existing online master courses.
The LMS Course Developer works collaboratively with team members in order to meet rigorous standards, ADA and student usability standards.
This position is best suited to someone who prefers a fast-paced environment, adapts to change, and seeks to actively develop new skills and grow in understanding of learning and technology.

Responsibilities:

Work with Instructional Design team in understanding the content structure and building course content in the LMS. Ex: adding lectures, video, assessments, project directions, and activities for new courses.
Revise existing course content via course content software based on feedback
Responsible for second-level support of learning management system (LMS) content, date restrictions, master course and section creation, assessments/test banks, course revisions, etc.
Research Virtual Library, Internet, and publisher resources to support learning outcomes in credit-bearing college courses.
Provide Quality Assurance and adherence to copyright and intellectual property guidelines.
Research multi-media software and make recommendations
Work on multiple LMS projects simultaneously

Skill Requirements:

Excellent working knowledge of learning management systems and e-learning technology
Has excellent decision-making abilities and takes the initiative to ensure projects adhere to deadlines
