Job description:
We are looking for an Operator for Machine Plastering with hands-on experience in handling construction machinery or strong mechanical experience. The role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting plastering machines (spray plaster / mortar pump machines) to ensure consistent, high-quality plaster application at construction sites.
Candidates with prior experience in machine operation, electrical and mechanical maintenance, or construction equipment handling are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machine plastering systems efficiently on sitePrepare and monitor material flow, pressure, and consistency as per site requirementsPerform daily machine checks, cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenanceIdentify and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issuesMake necessary repairs when they arise, and raise replacement orders on time with the managementCoordinate with site supervisors, masons, and helpers to ensure smooth workflowEnsure uniform plaster thickness and quality outputFollow safety procedures and site safety protocols at all timesMaintain machine logs and report major faults to supervisorsAssist in machine setup, dismantling, and transportation when requiredRequired Skills & Qualifications:
A. Essential
Basic Experience as a mechanical/electrical technicianBasic understanding of mechanical systems, motors, pumps, hoses, and mixers, and also experience in electrical panelsAbility to troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical and operational issuesWillingness to work on construction sites and in varying conditionsPhysically fit for site workConversational English and 1 regional languageB. Preferred
Experience as a machine operatorExperience with machine plastering, spray plastering, or mortar pumpingITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related tradePrior experience in construction, infrastructure, or finishing worksKnowledge of cement, sand, and dry-mix plaster materialsHindi and 1 south Indian language.Experience:
0-10 years of experience in machine operation or any mechanical work. Fresh candidates with strong mechanical background and willingness to learn may also be considered
