- 6+ years of Magento development experience with Magento 2 working/exposure.
- Magento Certification.
- Expert understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy and components.
- Expertise in authoring and extending Magento extensions.
- Expertise in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates. Thorough knowledge of Magento feature set and configuration.
- Experience working with the following technologies: Javascript (Prototype and JQuery), XML, JSON, SQL, PHP, CSS2 and CSS3.
- Knowledge of online payment gateways (e.g., Authorize.net, Sagepay, PayPal, etc.).
- Experience with object-oriented programming & MVC application.
- Experience with caching and scaling techniques.
- Experience with Solr The ability to work on LAMP development environment.
- A portfolio of any previous work would be advantageous.
