Job Description
- Designation:- Management Trainee- Market Research
- Job Location: Pune
- As a Management Trainee- Market Research, the candidate will be principally responsible for interpreting data, formulating research reports and making recommendations based upon the research findings.
- To accomplish this task, the candidate will be required to apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated analysis and recommendations.
- Conduct in-depth secondary research in order to collect data on various global or regional markets
- Understand research objectives and design surveys/questionnaire to fetch data that will support the analysis
- Conduct primary interviews (through telephonic as well as written correspondence) with industry experts and key automotive market players
- Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect them
- Analyze the data to understand the market dynamics like trends, drivers, restrains, opportunities, regional trends etc.
- Perform a competition analysis in the market through competitor profiling, dashboards and market competition analysis
- Perform brand share and market share analysis
- Consolidate information into reports and presentations
- BE/B tech (Core Branches, Biomedical), MSc(Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bio-chemistry), Mtech (Core Branches, Biomedical), BE/B tech+ MBA (Marketing)
- Basic understanding of market research methodologies
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
