Job Description
Manager, Media Communications
Responsibilities:
- Gathering news contents from business owners for product and service launches, important campaigns, updates and partnerships, and events.
- Drafting engaging content for press releases, articles, social media in collaboration with internal stakeholder
- Distributing press release and press notes globally through multiple channels mainly in US, UK, Euro, Singapore, India, Japan, China, and Korea
- Assisting in developing and implementing strategic media plans
- Planning, executing, evaluating and reporting progress and performance of initiatives and propose further plans based on the results
- Having strong connections with media, and networking skills, especially in the US and Europe
- Proactive research, media mapping and relationship building with media professionals for exposure
Desired skills & responsibilities:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in PR, journalism or marketing
- 3 -5 years hands-on work experience in PR for the West-facing global corporations
- Strong English writing skills for press releases to appeal to the industry and media, writing engaging content for social media, blogs etc.
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work and engage internal stakeholders and media
- Experience working for companies dealing with technical business, especially STM and HSS publication, and life science industries
- Great project management skills to work in fast-paced work environment and get things done on time
