Manager – Logistics Inward

• Salary: 18,000.00 to 30,000.00 /month

• Work Location: Pune(Wagholi)
  
• Work Timing: 10am to 6:30pm (Monday to Saturday)
  
• Computer Knowledge: MS Word , emailing
  

• Deciding on the shipping agency based on quotation
  
• Negotiation of rates with shipping agency and approval post discussion with director.
  
• Finalisation of rates and giving order to shipping agency
  
• Clearance of bills for transporters
  
• Make weekly import shipment report for director
  
• Make report and analysis on cost of import of each shipment ( Ex works to ABK shipment wise) within 2 weeks of landing.
  
• Send list of import items to insurance company on a monthly basis
  
• Escalate to director in case of unforeseen delay in any shipment
  
• Check if material received in good condition and full quantity. If any product damaged/short inform to respective agency( CHA/Vendor/transporter)
  
• Seek import documents from supplier ( invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading) and check the same for correctness.
  
• Send documents to CHA.
  
• Check custom clearance checklist for correctness.
  
• Checking validity of import permits for consignments for which negotiation for shipping is being done.
  
• Provide details of inward clearing of container to transport agency
  
• Monitor progress of inward cargo till it reaches warehouse
  
• Check all invoices of CFS, clearance, freight and compare with quotation
  
• Clearance of bills for transporters
  
• Calculate landed cost based on invoice and shipment cost within two weeks of landing
  
• Based on standard formulas shared by director, work out MRP of each product
  
• Inform marketing team about new product launches, product images, product codes etc
  
• Forecast product requirement as per past trends for each product and sales forecast
  
• Calculation of product based on sales plan and customer requirement
  
• Order product as per forecast post approval from head of sales and director
  
• Manage the inventory to ensure on time delivery of products from international manufacturers/suppliers as per sales forecast
  
• Ensure inventory holding cost is kept to the minimum
  
• Ensure turnover of product as per expiry dates
  
• Prepare costing sheet and analysis of each product.
