Job Summary
The Field Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of Kohler products and equipment at customer locations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Kohler products and systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational faults.
Respond to customer service calls and resolve issues within defined timelines.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Coordinate with service managers, customers, and vendors for effective problem resolution.
Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
Provide technical guidance and training to customers when required.
Support warranty claims and service-related activities.
Required Qualifications
Diploma/ITI/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
2–5 years of field service or maintenance experience.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
