MapR QA Automation Engineer

Location : Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

Requirements & Qualifications :

Strong scripting experience in Linux shell, Dev-ops background is helpful.
System-level experience in Linux OS, particularly Rhel and Centos
Experience with scripting and configuring Jenkins on Linux
Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
3-5 years’ experience in software QA/QE role
Hands-on experience in white- and black-box testing
Scripting experience in Python
Previous experience in test automation with backend/infrastructure server software
Experience with storage, networking, and distributed systems.
Familiarity with Jira, Jenkins, and GitHub
Exposure with HDFS, Hadoop, Spark, Docker
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Ability to work both within a team and independently.
Experience in testing and verification of enterprise-quality products
Experience with server virtualization, including VMware and containers.
