Job Description

Position Title: Marketing Communications Specialist

Position Summary: This role is a Marketing Communications Specialist, responsible for executing the FS Segment marketing communication strategies/roadmaps in conjunction with the Marketing Segment Partners. The role also will be responsible for writing/development of documents/messaging for the FS Segments; being the liaison between the Segments and the broader marketing communications team and; assisting with trade shows, managing the translation of product literature, and document review coordination. This role must have strong strategy acumen, writing skills, experience in the chemical space, preferably silicones, excellent project management skills and a working knowledge of production, design and marketing including digital marketing.

Job Description
  • Create campaigns and demand generation activities to support new product introductions through different channels distribution, direct dealers and end users.
  • Develop and manage the different NPI communication launch plans across multiple geographies and channels.
  • Lead the transformation to digital mind first activities with the objectives of improving service and quality; reducing costs; and migrating toward more modern practices for an enhanced customer experience.
  • Coordinate with the digital team members to ensure integration of social and digital media programming.
  • Drive customer analysis and research to gain expertise and insights that can be used to influence product decisions and represent the voice of the customer.
  • Define and run comprehensive go-to-market strategy and planning including positioning, communication of value proposition and launch strategy.
  • Develop impactful messaging and communications through research and qualitative feedback.
  • Engage with the sales team to ensure they are informed and equipped to deliver consistent messaging and products to the right customer.
  • Lead and influence others to make customer-centered, data-backed decisions
  • Research market and competitor trends to effectively position Momentive products and features.
  • Create assets that can be utilized across the customer journey for each buyer persona.
  • Protecting and promoting the Momentive brand by ensuring that tone, messaging, look and feel, and other brand attributes are consistent and follow established corporate style guides by partnering with creative resources.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Produce engaging content across various communication channels including website, social media, and email marketing.
