Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development:

Design mechanical components, machines, and systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.

Develop 2D and 3D models, engineering drawings, and specifications for manufacturing.

Apply engineering principles to improve designs based on functionality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate design concepts.

Collaborate with product development teams to bring mechanical designs to production.
2. Manufacturing and Production Support:

Work with manufacturing teams to support the fabrication, assembly, and production of mechanical systems.

Select appropriate materials and production methods to optimize efficiency and cost.

Provide technical guidance during the installation and commissioning of machinery or equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the production floor and suggest process improvements.

Ensure all equipment complies with quality standards and safety regulations.
3. Maintenance and Operations:

Assist in setting up preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.

Analyze equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
-
Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or replacements when needed.

Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure minimum downtime in operations.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:

Perform simulations, stress analysis, and thermal evaluations to test product reliability and safety.

Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and suggest design modifications.

Support quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).

Document test procedures, results, and recommendations for future reference.
5. Project Management and Documentation:

Assist in planning, budgeting, and scheduling engineering projects.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Maintain accurate records of designs, test data, maintenance logs, and reports.

Prepare technical documentation, manuals, and user guides for products or systems.
