Applications are invited from the interested candidates for ONE temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a Department of Science & Technology sponsored Project entitled ‘Development and performance assessment of solar PV driven active Building integrated thermoelectric radiant walls (BITE-RW) for small scale space cooling applications’, at the Centre for Energy and Environment

1. Name of position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. Number of Positions :1 (One)
3.Essential Qualifications : First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in B. Tech./B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline and First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10point scale in M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Thermal/Energy or related specializations.
4. Duration : 3 Years The post is purely temporary on contract basis with an initial appointment for a period of one year (likely to be extended yearly for a period of one more year or project duration whichever is earlier based on periodic performance appraisal).
5. Consolidated salary: 31,000/- + 16% HRA per month for first 2 years and 35,000/- + 16% HRA per month in the third year. Note: Salary is paid as per the guidelines of DST from time to time and fund received in each year.
6. Other Benefits : The selected candidate is eligible to opt for Ph.D program announced by MNIT if he/she is interested in pursuing Ph.D at MNIT as per provision in the above research area after fulfilling the required criteria of MNIT.
