National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test (NHTET June 2017)
Eligibility : Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management after 10+2 from a recognized University with at least 60% marks with at least 2 years Industry Experience after obtaining Degree(industrial training is part of course curriculum and the same will not be considered as work experience).
OR Full time Master’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management after Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management from a recognized University with at least 60% marks either in Bachelor or Master’s Degree. Those not having bachelor degree in hospitality Administration/Management, but have a master degree in Hospitality and Tourism, are not eligible for NHTET.
After completion of bachelor degree in Hospitality/Management, if the candidates appearing in the final semester/ final year exam of the master’s degree and have passed all subjects of previous year/ semester, can also apply.
Age Limit: To be counted as on 31st March 2018: General Category 30 years,OBC Category 33 years, SC/ST and PD Categories 35 years.
Exam Centres: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Gurdaspur, Lucknow, Hazipur, Jaipur, Gandhinagar, Bhopal, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram
Application Fee: Rs.800/- for General/OBC categories (male candidates only), Rs.400/- for all female candidates as well as SC/ST/PD categories.(Through a demand draft drawn in favour of NCHMCT payable at Noida or Delhi)
