Qualification : Two years Master’s degree in Agriculture [M.Sc.(Ag.)] (Molecular Biology and/OR Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology/Plant Physiology/ Biochemistry/Genetics and/OR Plant Breeding/Microbiology/with four years bachelor’s degree OR Three years Master’s degree in Agriculture (M.Sc.Ag.) (Molecular Biology and/OR Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/Plant Physiology/ Biochemistry/Genetics and/OR Plant Breeding /Microbiology) and three years Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. OR Two years Master’s degree in Basic Sciences (Molecular Biology and/OR Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/Genetics/ Life Sciences /Microbiology) and 3 years Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. Candidate must have NET qualifications (CSIR-NET/DBT – BET/ GATE/ICAR- Ph.D Tests/ICMR-JRF/ DOPGPAT). Desirable : Knowledge of molecular biological techniques, operating laboratory equipment’s like PCR, q-RT-PCR, and computer operations
