National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) invites application for the position Project Technical Officer
Project: "Assessing effectiveness of Front of Pack Waming Labels for Processed Food Products in India - A study on Formats, Acceptability and Potential Use"

Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Communication & journalism from a recognized University with fluency in English with 5 years experience in Journalism/Public Relations/Voluntary Sector/Science reporter or allied fields Or 1t class Master degree in Mas Communication & Journalism from a recognized University with atleast 1 yea experience in journalism/Public Relations/Voluntary Sector/S cience reporter or allied fields
Desirable: Experience in report writing, writing for various Media and Public Health Communication, Content Development Fluency in one or two Indian languages is preferred
Salary: Rs 32,000/-p.m. fixed without any other allowances
Tenure :6 months (Extendable based on tenure of the Project )
Place of work ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad.
Age Limit: Below 30 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR guideline

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a 'Deficiency Disease Enquiry' and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged 'Nutrition Research Laboratories' (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
