Name of the Scheme/ Project : Using wild ancestor plants to make rice more resilient to increasingly unpredictable water availability (EAP-176)
Qualification : Master degree in any branch of Agricultural Science or allied subjects preferentially Agricultural Extension/ Extension Education OR Master degree in Social work/ Agri. Business Management/Economics with special paper in Agriculture with NET/GATE qualified by conducted by the Central govt. Dept./Agencies for admission to Ph. D OR Ph.D. in any discipline of Social Science Desirable: Experience in conducting field survey/Organizing training programme /Demonstration and field days/publication in the area of specialization is also desirable.

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + 20% HRA for 1st & 2nd year, Rs. 28,000/- p.m. + 20% HRA from 3rd year onwards as per rule.
Age : 35 yrs. for men and 40 yrs. for women.

About Company
Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) is one of the Institutes of the ICAR under the Division of Crop Sciences. The Institute has two research stations- Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station (CRURRS), Hazaribagh, in Jharkhand, and the Regional Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station (RRLRRS), Gerua, in Assam. These research stations were established to tackle the problems of rainfed uplands, and flood prone rainfed lowlands, respectively.
