Navsari Agricultural University (NAU) invites application for the position Research Associate
Project entitled: “Establishment of Department of Wildlife Sciences”
Qualification: Ph.D. in Forestry/ Wildlife Science/ Zoology/Ecology OR M.Sc. in Forestry/ Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60 % marks or equivalent Overall Grade Point Average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ Other engagement and one research paper in SCI/NAAS rated (≥4.0) journal.
Salary: Rs. 54,000/- per month + HRA (For Ph.D.) & Rs. 49,000/- per month + HRA (For Master Degree holders)
Preference : Preference will be given to the candidates having high rated publications and knowledge of wildlife data collection methods, bio-statistical softwares, use of RS and GIS tools in wildlife
Nature of job : It is full time basis
Appointment period : The appointment is time-bound and not exceeding the project duration. Appointment can be discontinued owing to administrative reasons or misconduct or failure to perform the duties assigned at any point of time during project period without any prior notice.
Age Limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
