Network Engineer Job in MATRIX HUMAN CAPITAL at Gurgaon

Hiring for Network Engineer L3 Profile.

Location : Gurugram & Chennai

Salary : up to 11Lpa

Designation : Network Engineer L3

A minimum of 5-year experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 operational support
• Management of Configuration changes of routers as and when required & periodic back up of configurations.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Corrective actions to resolve faults to ensure high network uptime
• Troubleshooting and debugging of problems.
• Interact with other teams/customers, understand the requirements/problems and resolve within a stipulated time.
• Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Willing to work in shifts (including night)
  

Job Requirements

• Should have proficient hands-on experience in administration/configuration of Routers, Switches
• Deep understanding of Routing Protocol (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS) / Switching Protocols (STP, VTP, HSRP, Load Balancers, ACLs).
• Hands-on experience with L2-L3 switches, Routers, Firewalls, VLANs, MPLS links.
• Should have worked with QoS over the internet/MPLS network.
• Hands-on Experience with Site to site tunnels, Remote Access VPN (IPSEC, SSL VPN, WebVPN, AnyConnect, DMVPN) configuration and Troubleshooting
• Should be well versed with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools CA UIM, Solar Winds, Wireshark.
• Familiar with infrastructure implementation/ management service/ operations management, etc.
• Strong analytical fault isolation and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of the ITIL process
• Should have experience in ITSM tool like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy
• Basic knowledge of operating systems like Linux, Unix, Windows server.
• Basic Knowledge of Windows Active Directory Services, RADIUS, LDAP.
• Ability to find technology workarounds to issues that can be resolved in a timely fashion
  

Primary Key Skills

• Minimum 1-year experience in Switches - Layer 3
• Routing Tools ( OSPF & BGP )
• IPSEC and Firewall
• International Client support ( US / UK)
• Familiar with infrastructure implementation/ management service/ operations management, etc
• Must have excellent communication skills.
