Nursing Officer (Staff Nurse) Jobs opportunity in Vardhman Mahavir Medical College Safdarjung Hospital on contract basis
Essential Educational Qualification and Experience : (A) (i) B.Sc. (Hons.) in (Nursing) from a recognised University or Institute / Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised University or Institute / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) from recognised University or Institute; (ii) Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council. (iii) Six months experience in Minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above Or (B) (i) Diploma in General Nursing and midwifery from a recognised Board or Council. (ii) Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council. (iii) Two and half years experience in minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the above educational qualification.
Number of Vacancies: 113* (UR- 58, SC- 18, ST- 08, OBC – 29)
Remuneration: Rs.45800
Age : 21 - 30 years
Selection Procedure: There will be single stage of examination in online mode in English.
Examination Centre: Online examination centre will be Delhi NCR region only. Candidate will be required to provide the detail of Aadhar Card in application form and bring the original during the online examination for verification.
Application Fees: Application fees for General/OBC candidates is Rs. 500/- + Bank Transaction Charge, fees for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 200/- + Bank Transaction Charge, Persons with disabilities are exempted from payment of application fee subject to submission of necessary certificate from a competent authority in support of their claim of disability.

Safdarjung Hospital started
as an American Army Base Hospital during the II World war. In 1947 it
was made annexe to Irwin Hospital (Presently LNJP Hospital). It was
taken over by the Central Government in 1954 and named as Safdarjung
Hospital. Until the inception of All India Institute of Medical Science
in 1956, Safdarjung Hospital was the only tertiary care hospital in
South Delhi. Based on the needs and developments in medical care the
hospital has been regularly upgrading its facilities from diagnostic and
therapeutic angles in all the specialties.
