Job Description
Areas of responsibility
- The Operations Associate is responsible for the smooth running of various systems thereby improving the overall operational efficiency of the organisation.
The areas of responsibility include:
- Managing office space - Organising the office layout and ensuring necessary maintenance.
- Managing logistical requirements - Arranging team members’ travel, accommodation, food and venue logistics for organisational events.
- Arranging for materials - Arranging for office material and 321 program material, for example, tech equipment, stationery, prints and photocopies.
- Executing administrative tasks - Executing admin tasks such as ensuring maintenance of tech equipment, creating petty cash reports, doing other in-city operations tasks.

Overview
321’s mission is to make a transformative impact on India’s education system by maximising the potential of each educator and each school. By igniting educators and strengthening schools we want to impact the millions of children in our country.
We aim to do this through our 2-year school strengthening program called 321’s Ignite! Program. In the next 4 years, through this program, we want to impact 10,000 teachers, 1,000 school leaders, 500 schools and 4,00,000 students.
Our Journey
We started our journey in 2012 by opening a school for economically disadvantaged children in Mumbai. Researching, contextualising and implementing international best practices in our school, we were able to create a shining example of delivering high-quality education to some of the neediest children.
Given the high interest from other schools to train their teachers, we piloted a teacher training program from 2014-2016 that trained 200 teachers across 3 cities.
In 2016, we started our school strengthening program which provided holistic support to schools and impacted over 600 educators, 30 schools and 25,000 children.
From 2017 onwards, we are scaling this program across multiple cities in the country.
321’s Ignite! Program
Igniting Educators, Strengthening Schools, Building India
The program aims to support existing schools in becoming model schools with high teacher performance and motivation, rigorous student learning and strong parent engagement.
Program description :
Intensive 2-year school strengthening program with 40 days of in-person support per school (for an average school).
150 hour program for each educator with 36 distinct in-person touch points.
Highly scalable and cost effective model which allows us to have 5 times the span ratios (trainers to educators) and lower costs compared to other programs.
