Job Description
Nayi Disha is our attempt to address important information needs of parents of individuals with IDD through an information and resource portal and thus develop a digital ecosystem of all the stakeholders such as parents, therapists, doctors and schools. We hope that this will help build a much-needed support for families and also help individuals with IDD receive the best possible care and access the services they require, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Make daily calls to register new service providers
2. Become our communication outreach specialist and traveling (not in current scenario) to spread awareness about inclusion and Nayi Disha
3. Maintain clear records of all the calls made during the day
4. Create pipeline for service providers that need to be added on the website through our WhatsApp groups or online search or by calling up parents
5. Manage Excel spreadsheets to support data analyses for Nayi Disha
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for the work from home job/internship
2. can start the work from home job/internship between 11th May'21 and 15th Jun'21
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests

1. Good oral and written communication skills, ability to convince the provider to enlist on the website
2. Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities is an asset
3. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all business information including processes
4. Strong computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
5. Ability to set priorities and multitask
