Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Ops Data Analyst to join our Operations team. The role involves collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support decision-making. You will work closely with teams such as supply chain, customer support, finance, and product to deliver actionable insights and drive continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection and Processing:

Gather, clean, and validate large sets of structured and unstructured operational data from various sources (internal databases, third-party systems, APIs, spreadsheets, etc.).

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness for analysis.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze trends, performance metrics, and KPIs (e.g., turnaround time, delivery success rate, cost per transaction, downtime).

Prepare regular dashboards and reports for internal teams and management using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or Tableau.

Create ad hoc reports based on business queries or operations needs.
3. Process Optimization Support:

Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps in operational processes through data.

Recommend and track improvements to workflows, automation, and resource utilization.

Support cross-functional initiatives such as cost reduction, capacity planning, inventory control, or vendor performance.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with Ops Managers, Product Teams, Engineering, and Finance to understand business problems and provide data-driven solutions.

Participate in business reviews, strategy sessions, and root cause analyses.
5. Tools and Automation:

Build and maintain scripts or tools for recurring data pulls or reports using SQL, Python, or Google Apps Script (if required).

Develop models and templates to improve data visibility and accessibility for operations teams.
