Job Description
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.- Document findings and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.- Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and patches to enhance functionality and security.- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve software issues effectively.- Experience in monitoring and maintaining financial management systems to ensure optimal performance.- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support
