Job Title: Part-Time Delivery Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages or food items to customers in a timely and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities

Pickup and Delivery

Collect goods, orders, or packages from designated pickup points (stores, restaurants, warehouses, etc.).
Deliver items to customers or business locations as per the assigned route and timeline.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery while maintaining the condition of the items.

Route Management

Plan and follow the most efficient route using GPS navigation or delivery apps.
Adjust routes in real-time based on traffic conditions, road closures, or weather issues.
Follow assigned delivery schedules and complete multiple deliveries per shift if required.

Customer Interaction

Greet customers professionally upon delivery.
Verify customer identity and obtain necessary signatures or confirmation of delivery.
Handle customer concerns or questions politely and report issues to supervisors if needed.

Safety and Vehicle Care

Drive safely, follow traffic laws, and practice defensive driving techniques.
Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it’s in good working condition (tires, brakes, fuel, lights, etc.).
Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained; report any mechanical problems to the manager or fleet supervisor.

Documentation and Reporting

Accurately log each delivery completed using the delivery app or manual forms.
Maintain records of fuel usage, mileage, and working hours.
Report any delivery delays, damaged items, or customer complaints to the appropriate department.

Cash Handling and Mobile Payments (If Applicable)

Collect cash or verify mobile payment upon delivery if the payment mode is COD (Cash on Delivery).
Provide correct change and receipts where required.
Ensure safe handling of all financial transactions and report discrepancies immediately.
