Job Description
Motivated and qualified students for admission to the PhD Programme at IIIT Allahabad
starting from January/July.
PhD in Management
Representative Areas: Marketing/Services Management, Finance/Economics/ Accounting, Human Resource Management/Development, Operations and Optimization, Strategic Management/General Management.
Eligibility: (i) A master's degree in Management / Commerce / Science / Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks / 6.5 CGPI (55% marks/6.0 CGPI for SC/ST). (ii) The candidate must have qualified one of following appropriate national tests: GATE / CAT / GMAT / CSIR-NET / UGC-NET OR A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree with a minimum of 75% marks/ 8.0 CGPI (70% marks/7.5 CGPI for SC/ST)
PhD in Applied Sciences
Representative Areas: Bio-Informatics and Bio-Medical Engineering Computational Structural Proteomics, Computer Aided Drug Design, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, Sequencing Technologies and System Biology, Biological Database Management System, High Performance Computing, Bioelectrics, Machine Learning, Medical Instrumentation, Ultrasonic/Photoacosutic Imaging and Tissue Characterization, System and Image Processing, BioMEMs and Nanotechnology, Computational Medical Sciences, Health Information Systems.
Mathematics Combinatorial Topology, Commutative Algebra, Functional Analysis.
Physics Experimental and Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics, Photonics and Spectroscopy, Cosmology and General Relativity, Computational Astrophysics, Modeling and Simulations, Theoretical High Energy Physics. Photonic Crystals, Photonic band gap materials & Metamaterials.
Eligibility: i. A master’s degree in Science / Life Science or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks / 6.5 CGPI (55% marks / 5.5 CGPI for SC/ST). ii. A master’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks / 6.5 CGPI (55% marks / 5.5 CGPI for SC/ST). iii. Representative Areas: Cognitive Computing, Logics and Verification, Algorithms and Optimization, Data Mining and Information Retrieval, Cryptography and Cyber Security, Wireless Networks and Mobile Computing, Image Processing and Graphics & Visual Computing, Document Image analysis, Machine Learning (ML),NPL and Big Date Analytics, Complex and Social Network Analysis, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Wireless Sensor Networks & Internet of Things.
Eligibility: A master’s degree in Engineering /Technology or equivalent degree with a minimum of 65% marks / 7.0 CGPI (60% marks/6.5 CGPI for SC/ST). OR A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree with a minimum of 75% marks/ 8.0 CGPI (70% marks/7.5 CGPI for SC/ST) OR A Master's degree in Science/Computer Application with (a) a minimum of 75% / 8.0 CGPI in the master's degree (b) first division in bachelor's degree (c) INSPIRE JRF/ NET JRF/NET/SET
Fellowship: Research Scholars to take up the additional assignment of ‘Tutor-cum-Research Assistant’ Positions at IIIT Allahabad, will be compensated additionally with an additional fellowship upto Rs.10, 000/- per month over and above their scholarship.
Application Fee : Rs.500/-for General/OBC and Rs.250/-for SC/ST candidates.
