Admission Notice for PhD Programme in Applied Science

Research Scholars to take up the additional assignment of ‘Tutor-cum-Research Assistant’ Positions at IIIT Allahabad, will be compensated additionally with an additional fellowship upto Rs.10,000/- per month over and above their scholarship.

PhD in Applied Sciences

Eligibility :  i. A master’s degree in Science / Life Science or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks / 6.5 CGPI (55% marks / 5.5 CGPI for SC/ST). ii. A master’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks / 6.5 CGPI (55% marks / 5.5 CGPI for SC/ST). iii. The candidate must have qualified one of following appropriate national tests: GATE / CSIRNET / UGCNET / DBT/ICMR / JEST / NBHM / INSPIRE Or A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree with a minimum of 75% marks/ 8.0 CGPI (70% marks/7.5 CGPI for SC/ST)

Application Fee  :   The Application fee is Rs.500/-for General/OBC and Rs.250/-for SC/ST candidates.

Teacher-cum-Research Fellow (on temporary basis)

Qualification : PhD (including those candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. Thesis).

Minimum Experience : Nil

Honorarium : Rs. 40,000/- per month for candidates who have submitted their PhD and award of PhD is awaited. Rs. 55,000/- per month for candidates who have been awarded PhD degree (on par with the post doctoral fellowship)
