Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist (Fresher) to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or entry-level candidates who are passionate about patient care and laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples, ensuring proper handling and labeling, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all age groups.
- Label and store blood samples for laboratory testing.
- Ensure proper identification and documentation of patient information.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of phlebotomy equipment and work area.
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
- Provide a calm and compassionate experience for patients during sample collection.
- Coordinate with lab staff for sample transportation and test results.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory management of supplies.
Skills:

Technical Skills: Proficiency in performing blood draws (venipuncture and capillary puncture) and handling various types of blood collection equipment.

Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain procedures to patients and address any concerns to reduce anxiety.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in labeling, documenting, and tracking blood specimens to ensure accuracy.
