Job Description
We are seeking to hire a technically skilled PLSQL Developer, that is capable of holding positions of great responsibility. In this role, your responsibilities including designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle database applications using PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers, while also optimizing database performance
- Qualification: BE/BTech/MCA
- Experience: 0 – 2 years
- Salary: 20000 to 25000
Key Responsibilities:
1. Database Development:
-
Design, write, and maintain complex PL/SQL code including stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.

Write optimized SQL queries for integration with applications and reports.
-
Work with front-end developers to integrate back-end logic seamlessly with application interfaces.
2. Data Modeling and Schema Design:
-
Collaborate with database architects to design logical and physical database structures.
-
Create and modify database tables, indexes, views, sequences, and constraints based on business requirements.
-
Ensure that data structures support scalability and performance.
3. Performance Tuning:
-
Monitor and fine-tune existing PL/SQL code and SQL queries to improve system performance.

Use tools such as SQL Trace, AWR, TKPROF, and Explain Plan to analyze and optimize performance bottlenecks.

Collaborate with DBAs to identify and resolve resource-intensive operations.
4. ETL and Data Migration:
-
Develop PL/SQL scripts for data migration, transformation, and validation between systems.

Work on batch processes to automate loading, updating, and archiving large data sets.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout migration processes.
5. Application Support and Maintenance:
-
Provide ongoing support for existing database code and troubleshoot production issues.

Apply patches, resolve defects, and maintain code versioning in a source control system (like Git or SVN).

Participate in root cause analysis and bug fixing during post-deployment reviews.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
-
Maintain technical documentation for all developed modules, procedures, and processes.

Create user and system documentation as needed.

Develop queries and views for data analysis, business intelligence, or audit reporting.
7. Collaboration and Communication:

Participate in requirement analysis, system design meetings, and code reviews.

Work in Agile or Waterfall development environments with project managers and QA testers.

Clearly communicate development status, risks, and concerns to team leads or project stakeholders.
