Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Create data models using Power BI Desktop.
Develop DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query (M Language).
Connect Power BI to multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, SharePoint, Azure, SAP, Salesforce, and REST APIs.
Optimize report performance by improving data models and DAX queries.
Publish reports to Power BI Service and manage workspaces.
Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) and implement data governance.
Schedule and monitor data refreshes using Power BI Gateway.
Collaborate with business users to understand reporting and analytics needs.
Troubleshoot report issues and resolve data discrepancies.
Create visually appealing dashboards with charts, slicers, drill-through, bookmarks, and custom visuals.
Document report designs, data models, and technical specifications.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
Work closely with data engineers, database administrators, and business analysts.
Support ad hoc reporting and business intelligence requests.
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
