Qualification  :   (1) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by recognized University. (2) A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance. (3) Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of 15 years of teaching/research / administration in University / Colleges and other institutions of higher education. (4) A Minimum score as stipulated in the Academic performance Indicator (API) Based on performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), as set out in the UGC regulation No. f3.1/2009, dated 30 June 2010, Government of India Gazette 18-24 Sept 2010, Maharashtra State Govt. notification No. sankirn-2011/(25/11)/ vishi-1, dated 15 Feb 2011 & Education qualification recommended by the UGC and state Government from time to time of Principal / Professors in colleges. The term of appointment of the college Principal shall be of 5 years tenure with eligibility for reappointment for one more term only after a similar selection committee process.
