Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge and Expertise:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products or services offered by the company.
Stay updated on product features, specifications, benefits, and limitations to provide accurate information to customers.
Attend product training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of new products or product updates.
Customer Interaction and Support:
Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide tailored product recommendations based on their preferences, budget, and requirements.
Answer customer queries regarding product specifications, availability, pricing, and warranties.
Assist customers in comparing different products, explaining how they differ and helping them make an informed choice.
Provide product demonstrations and guide customers through the features and functions of the product.
Sales and Upselling:
Drive sales by actively recommending products to customers and achieving sales targets.
Suggest complementary products or accessories that may enhance the customer's purchase.
Upsell and cross-sell products by highlighting benefits and value-added features.
Help customers understand promotions, discounts, and offers to encourage purchases.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or complaints.
Follow up with customers after purchases to ensure satisfaction and resolve any post-purchase issues.
Create a loyal customer base by ensuring an outstanding and personalized shopping experience.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and inform customers of availability or restocking dates.
Help with inventory management by assisting in the organization of product displays, stock replenishment, and ensuring products are well-presented.
Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to management.
Market and Competitor Awareness:
Keep up-to-date with competitor products, pricing strategies, and industry trends.
Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, market trends, and potential improvements to products or services.
Sales Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain records of customer interactions, sales, and product recommendations within the company's CRM system.
Report on sales performance, including meeting or exceeding targets, and document customer feedback to improve service.
Assist in preparing sales reports and other administrative tasks related to sales performance.
Customer Education:
Educate customers on how to use products effectively, offering advice on maintenance, setup, or troubleshooting when needed.
Conduct training sessions or workshops for customers to help them better understand the product’s functionalities.
