Bank of Baroda invites application for the position Product Head 

Position / Vertical: Product Head – General Insurance (Wealth Management Services)

Vacancies: 01

Education Qualification: Mandatory – Graduate in any discipline from University / Institution recognized by Govt. of India / UGC/AICTE Preferred – 2 Year Full Time PostGraduation Degree/Diploma in Management

Work Experience: Minimum 12 Years of relevant work experience in banking/ distribution or NBFC in General Insurance, out of which minimum 5 Years of experience should be for Product Development / Product Team for General Insurance.

Remuneration: Remuneration will be offered based on candidate’s qualifications, experience, overall suitability, last drawn salary of the candidate and market benchmark, and shall not be a limiting factor for suitable candidates.

Nature of Employment: Contractual Engagement for a period of 5 years, with periodic performance review. The term of engagement may be extended at the option of the Bank.

Roles & Responsibilities: 
a. Product development through various segment like Fire, property, motor etc.
b. Develop channels for execution through active engagement with product & sales team of Home Loan, Auto Loan, Agri. Deptt. etc.
c. Actively participate in target setting exercise, execution of set objective in the annual business plan, and responsibility in terms of achieving P & L target at Corporate level.
d. Prepare review data and execute the actionable as advised by the Top Management.
e. Managing the relationship with the General Insurance partners for sales execution, ensuring support from the partners and co-ordinating with them for settling claims/ taking up cause of the Bank’s clients.
f. Ensuring compliance as per IRDAI guidelines, and preparing the necessary MIS/ returns to be filed with IRDAI time to time.
g. Must be able to leverage digital growth/ initiatives to smoothen the process and enhance reach of products.
h. Remains abreast in terms of market trends and developments, customer preferences, and new/innovative products.
i. Contributes to all aspects of the marketing mix including products development, high operational efficiency and bespoke customer service.
j. Participates, anticipates, enquires, responds, and prepares written presentations and other documents independently.
k. Any other work as assigned from time to time.

Age Limit: Min : 35 years, Max : 45 years
