Job Title: Production Support Engineer
Experience: 8 - 15 Years
Job Description:
We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and support business applications in a production environment. The candidate should ensure system stability, resolve incidents, and coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L1/L2 production support for applications and business systems.
Monitor application health, batch jobs, and system performance.
Investigate and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
Handle tickets through tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
Support deployment activities and production releases.
Monitor logs and troubleshoot application/server issues.
Coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
Prepare incident reports and maintain support documentation.
Participate in on-call support and shift activities.
Required Skills:
Experience in Production Support or Application Support.
Strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
Understanding of Unix/Linux commands.
Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow/Jira/Remedy).
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
Basic understanding of APIs and application architecture.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
