Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support to production teams during manufacturing or production processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery, equipment, or processes that affect production efficiency.

Ensure minimal downtime during production by identifying problems quickly and implementing corrective actions.
-
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues in production systems.
2. Maintenance and Equipment Management:
-
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of production equipment to ensure it runs smoothly and reliably.

Coordinate with maintenance teams to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.

Monitor and manage the performance and condition of equipment, ensuring that repairs and upgrades are done as necessary to prevent production delays.

Track spare parts inventory and coordinate the purchase or replacement of critical components for production systems.
3. Process Optimization and Improvement:
-
Work with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

Implement improvements in production workflows to reduce costs, increase quality, and optimize resource use.

Analyze production data and system performance to develop strategies for minimizing waste, improving cycle times, and enhancing throughput.

Monitor key production metrics, including efficiency, downtime, and product quality, and provide insights into trends and improvement opportunities.
4. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of production issues, maintenance activities, and resolutions.

Document all system changes, fixes, and technical improvements made during production support activities.

Prepare regular reports on production support activities, including downtime, system performance, and maintenance activities.

Ensure that all production activities are documented in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
5. Collaboration with Other Teams:

Work closely with the production team to ensure the timely completion of production goals and targets.

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve product or equipment-related issues and support new product launches.

Provide technical training and guidance to production staff on equipment and system operation and troubleshooting.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding production status, technical issues, and support requirements.
6. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure that all production systems and processes are operating within established quality standards.

Support quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high product quality and minimize defects.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all production and maintenance activities.

Report any non-conformities or production discrepancies to management and work to resolve them promptly.
7. Training and Development:

Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge of production systems, machinery, and troubleshooting techniques.

Assist in training new team members and supporting their development in production systems and equipment management.

Stay up-to-date with new technologies, systems, and industry best practices related to production support.
