Job Description
The Department of Physical Sciences of IISER-Mohali invites applications for Project Assistant positions on a purely temporary basis on contract under the DST-INSPIRE research grant at IISER Mohali.
1. Post Name: Project Assistant
2. No. of positions: Two.
3. Essential Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in physics with interests in Observational Astrophysics, X-ray binaries, AGNs. Candidates with X-ray (multi-wavelength) data analysis skills will be preferred.
4. Emoluments: Rs. 31000 per month if NET/GATE/JEST (all in physics) is qualified. Rs. 15000 per month if none of the NET, GATE, or JEST in physics is qualified.
5. Duration: Initially for six months and extendable for six more months.
