Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conserving the executive's time by reading, researching & routing correspondence, drafting letters & documents, collecting & analyzing information, and initiating telecommunications
2. Maintains the executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
3. Welcoming guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or directing inquiries
4. Preparing reports by collecting and analyzing information
5. Representing the executive by attending meetings in the executive's absence and speaking for the executive
6. Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential
7. Completing projects by assigning work to clerical staff and following up on results
8. Securing information by completing database backups
9. Providing historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems and recording meeting discussions
10. Maintaining office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, evaluating new office products, placing & expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipts of supplies
