Consolidated salary –(Pay range ): Rs. 37,510/- to 41,261/-(Based on post qualification relevant experience)

Educational Qualification & Experience:

1st class B. E. / B. Tech. / MCA/ or equivalent degree in relevant discipline OR
1st class M. Sc. Computer Science / IT or MCS with at least 3 years post qualification experience is must.

Relevant Discipline/Domain for the above qualifications: Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology/Electronics

Post Qualification experience: 2-3 years

Skills Required:

Monitor and maintain database security and database software
Experience with SQL Server in a highly available (HA) environment, Database monitoring, health check, log shipping, mirroring, and data synchronization solution replication.
Working knowledge of SQL Server DBA best practices (e.g., Instance management, index optimization, Statistics optimization)
Strong query and database tuning skills
Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile / iterative methodologies required
DBMS Knowledge - Extensive Knowledge of multiple database disciplines and technologies
DBMS Utilities - Extensive Knowledge of multiple utilities utilized to manage, monitor and maintain database systems
DBMS Recovery - Extensive Knowledge of recovery technologies for local and geographically disperse systems
Proficient with backups and recovery, re-index operations, updating statistics, and other system commands such as DBCC and DMVs.
Basic SQL knowledge and DBMS conceptual knowledge is required.
Performance tuning of key queries.

Additional Skillsets: Experience with Linux Server environments. Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
