Project Engineer (PE) /Senior Project Engineer (SPE) Job Opportunity At IIT Kanpur purely temporary and on contractual basis.

Project entitled “Decentralized Power Generation Using Micro Gas Turbines”

Minimum qualification: M.Tech. (for Project Engineer)

PhD or M.Tech. + 3 years of experience (for Senior Project Engineer)

Desired qualifications: Should have a good academic record (greater than 8 CPI or 80% marks in UG and PG Degrees)*

Strong background in CFD, specifically turbulent/ multiphase/ reactive flows with a good grasp of relevant scientific/ technological problems and an understanding of promising approaches to their solutions

Incumbent should have prior experience in development of CFD solvers using OpenFOAM

Good communication skills

Salary range: Rs. 26400-2200-66000 (Project Engineer), Rs. 32400-2700-81000 (Senior Project Engineer) per month based on qualification
