Temporary Position(s) Project Officer / Junior Project Officer - Social Media - Content Creation

Project Title: International Relations Fund (IRF)(IRF),Reference No. IIT/SRIC/R/IRF/2019/103

Vacancies: 1 post

Consolidated Compensation Upto: Rs.40000(depending upon qualification & experience)

Qualifications Profile: The incumbent will be responsible for communications with various public, private and international stakeholders of the Institute through social and digital media. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Content writing for web and media, Digital Media Monitoring, Liasoning (Internal and External), Stakeholder relationship engagement on-field, Data collection, entry and analytics, Preparation of MIS Reports, Record keeping, Filing and Tracking documents. Incumbent will report to the Office of Dean IR. Required Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with English as medium of instruction from a reputed university with first class or equivalent;

Required Professional Experience: Must have at least five years’ experience as a creative writer/ reporter/ journalist/ editor in a reputed print publication/media outlet with established track record in professional blogging, content development for website or print publications in English media Required Skills/Knowledge: Excellent English writing skills on technical matters for the general audience; feature writing, investigative writing; copywriting and copyediting; ability to read and understand scientific papers

Relevant Experience: Desired educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in English/Science/Engineering, Master’s degree in Journalism/ Mass Communication from a reputed university with first class or equivalent;

Desired professional experience: familiarity with research and teaching activities in a premier technological institution of higher learning; experience in science writing, editorial writing, book review; experience in production;

Desired Skills/Knowledge: Write press releases, tweets, social media posts, conduct interviews, handle publication work
