Job description

Work under the guidance and direction of the Cofounders who are published in more than 35 media to:

• Update, maintain and organize media contact lists, daily news roundup, and media inquiries
• Assist with targeted publication research to identify placement of bylined articles, quotes, expert opinion and though leadership pieces and editorial/reporter contacts
• Assists with research and analysis of social media statistics, practice groups, competitors and earned media placements
• Assists with additional research for strategic planning purposes
• Assists with administrative functions of the Department including but, not limited to answering the phone, printing, copying, filing, mailing, etc.
• Contributes to the firm's overall initiative to consistently improve its image internally and externally. Displays professionalism, quality service and a 'can do' attitude to internal members/departments of the firm as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and in person.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent telephone, interpersonal, organizational and written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Prior experience in corporate setting preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and excellent attention to detail

Education:

• Currently pursing B.A./ B.S. Degree, Graduate Degree or Recent Graduate
