Preference would be someone with the background of sourcing, also sound in Excel for Vlookups, margin calculations, Pivot tables , formulas etc.
An understanding of the role would include the below:-
- Operational work for coordination in all aspects
- Strong Excel skills
- Basic understanding of Sourcing ( Margin / Vat calculation)
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Follow ups with vendors for stocks and other activities
- Listing of new vendors and their products
- Crisp communication to vendors for various promos or activities
- Developing cordial relations with vendors
- Timely stock updates and payment updates
- WH visits whenever required
